Financial Supply Chain Management

SAP FSCM allows all the financial processes of a company to be monitored through the system. Some components are subject to additional licensing. It consists of the sub-components below:

  • SAP Treasury and Risk Management (FIN-FSCM-TRM)

Transaction Manager
Market Risk Analyzer
Credit Risk Analyzer

  • Portfolio Analyzer
  • SAP Cash and Liquidity Management

SAP Cash Management
SAP Liquidity Planner

  • SAP Collections Management (FIN-FSCM-COL)
  • SAP Credit Management (FIN-FSCM-CR) (Management of Customer Credits)
  • SAP Dispute Management (FIN-FSCM-DM)

Transaction manager: Supports the monitoring of all spot and future transactions, repos, investment accounts, loans and similar transactions with banks and similar financial organizations. It enables the monitoring of futures, options, swaps and the like. It automatically captures accounting entries according to different accounting principles (VUK –Turkish Tax Procedure Law, IFRS, US-GAAP, etc.). It works in direct integration with Cash Management and FI.

Market Risk Analyser: Analyzes the relevant data considering selected risk factors for pre-defined scenarios, to help the company secure and strengthen its competitive position.

Credit Risk Analyzer: Helps analyze and minimize credit risk for pre-defined scenarios considering risk factors such as exchange rate and interest rate for the credits/loans used by the company.

Liquidity Planner: Is used for cash budgeting. Runs on SEM, BW and ECC. The cash budget entries are made through the SEM system. The actual values are formed on the EEC. Reporting is done through the BW system.

Collections Management: Collections constitute one of the major problems the companies are faced with in a competitive environment. SAP Collections Management tool is aimed at increasing collection performance. It allows monitoring the promises made by customers to pay and their realizations, and measuring collection performance.

Customer Credit Management: Is integrated with Customer Accounting module and Sales Distribution module. This tool goes beyond standard credit management by enabling you to monitor customers’ credit ratings by external auditing firms, internal credit ratings, payment performance, disputes (in case Dispute Management is used) and notices.

Dispute Management: Helps monitor the disputes with customers. A file is created for each dispute, including the action to be taken and work flows for dispute resolution. Any dispute occurring within the chain of sale order-distribution-billing-collection and the related correspondence can be monitored.
