MBIS has developed a special project management methodology, called MBIS Agile Methodology, by blending the experience it acquired on numerous successful projects it has realized with its knowledge of project management tools utilized by multinational companies and SAP’s project management approach. MBIS Agile Methodology is different from other methods applied in the industry basically in two aspects, which assure project success.
The first is the realization of the high level modeling service as the first step of the project, even before the conceptual design stage, making a big difference in project management. At this stage, the expectations of the upper management are analized to define the processes in the most accurate way possible, which results in a clearer picture of the project scope. The main processes and sub-processes defined in this stage allow for the creation of the right scenarios during the conceptual design stage.
The other major difference brought by the MBIS Agile Methodology takes place during the project realization stage, where the SAP software configuration is realized according to the scenarios composed and the scenarios are tested. Unlike the general approach in the industry, this stage is divided into separate parts, instead of being executed in bulk. Every part has its specific scenario scope, work distribution, test scope, and documentation. The project is tested in several separate parts before going live, which allows the project processes to be tested before hand and ready to be implemented before the completion of the realization stage.
As part of the MBIS Agile Methodology applied in Project Management, MBIS utilizes a software tool that allows effective tracing of the project steps and tasks concerning people, and completing all the documentation along with the pertaining stages. This tool produces a documentation file including all the process and scenarios covered by the project and the related meeting and interview notes, ready to be presented to the client upon completion of the project. It can also be used by the client crew, which helps easy tracking of the deadlines and of the tasks shared between the teams and allows a healthy information flow.
