How did we succeed with Pulver?
Pulver Kimya has been moving forward with the vision of becoming a global, permanent and
excellent company
and satisfying its customers by refreshing its values in the powder coating
industry. It was using non-SAP® ERP systems
and customized software for many years.
The needs of the customer were revealed through preparing and elaborating the process maps of
the 4 companies
with the high-level modeling approach of the MBIS Agile Methodology.
These processes have been seamlessly implemented by combining SAP® 's best practices and MBIS's
know-how
in the Chemical and Paint industry over the years, with the experienced staff of MBIS
and the harmonious
and devoted work of our customers.
The test processes in the project, in which 500 users were engaged, were carried out end-to-end
for many different processes with the real master data of the customer, and users who have been
using
non-SAP® ERP for years have been made ready for SAP® screens before going live.
Powder coating manufacturer Pulver Kimya, thermoplastic elastomer (TPE)
manufacturer Elastron Kimya,
TPE-based gasket manufacturer Gasket, and
Riva companies were successfully put into live
use on
January 1, 2021, with on-site and remote works.
Results:
The following gains have been achieved for Pulver with our successful project:
- Significant improvement in process performance and efficiency thanks to the simplification and standardization of business processes and the implementation of the best practices that come with SAP®
- The infrastructure where institutional costs can be reduced by successfully structuring finance and financial accounting modules
- Accelerating decision-making processes and bringing it to a level that can directly increase profitability with the technological innovations, analytics, and real-time reporting brought by SAP® S/4HANA
- Increase in system accessibility and user productivity with innovative features that come with SAP®
- Commissioning of a central platform by incorporating specially developed applications with high management and maintenance costs into SAP®
